Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!

Today our Environment Club put the 3 R's into practice while learning how to make recycled paper charcoal! Paper Charcoal is a great alternative to regular charcoal because it reduces dependency on forest wood, thus preventing deforestation. It's also a great way to recycle paper, a major contributor to waste here in Zanzibar! To boot, it's very easy and cheap to make (and fun!)!! What a great way to start our Friday morning :)
