Siku ya Wanawake Kimataifa, 2017 | International Women's Day, 2017
Tarehe 8 Machi ya kila mwaka ni siku ya Wanawake Duniani. Watendaji na Washiriki wa EQWIP HUBs wameadhimisha kwa kufanya uwasilishaji kuhusu masuala ya Usawa wa jinsia na burudani ! Ujumbe wa mwaka huu wa 2017 ni # Sisitiza mabadiliko , ambao ulikuwa ni mahasusi kwa EQWIP HUBS kama unavyohamasisha kila mtu kusaidia " Kufanya Dunia ni sehemu bora ya kufanya kazi - shirikishi na yenye usawa wa kijinsia"
Kwa pamoja na Bi: Asha na Bi: Salma kutoka taasisi ya Zanzibar Gender Coalition (ZGC), Washiriki walijumuika na kuburudika katika mjadala kuhusu uwezeshaji wa wanawake na fursa za kijinsia!
EQWIP HUBs imejidhatiti katika kuhakikisha usawa wa kijinsia, mbinu zetu kwa Maendeleo ya Vijana inatoa nafasi kwa Vijana wa kike katika kazi zetu za msingi . Tunafanyakazi ya kutoa nafasi kwa kuzingatia Jinsia, ambapo wanawake wanaweza kufanikisha malengo na kupata taaluma na ujuzi utakaowaongoza katika kukamiisha mahitaji yao. Pia tunatoa nafasi ya kushiriki katika klabu yetu ya Wasichana ambayo inakutana kila wiki , ikiwa ni kijana wa kike na ungependelea kujiunga na klabu hii , fika katika Ofisi zetu kwa taarifa Zaidi!

March 8 marks International Women’s Day. EQWIP Hubs staff, volunteers, and participants celebrated with an informative day filled with presentations about gender equity, music, and dancing! The 2017 campaign theme #BeBoldForChange was a perfect fit for EQWIP Hubs, as the campaign calls on individuals to help “forge a better working world – a more inclusive, gender equal world.”
Together with Madame Asha and Madame Salma from The Zanzibar Gender Coalition (ZGC), participants engaged in informative discussions about women’s empowerment and gender equity, all while having fun!
EQWIP Hubs is committed to gender equality. Our innovative approach to Youth Development places young women at the core of our actions. We work towards a gender-inclusive space, where women can achieve their ambitions and build the skills and pathways they need to access a fulfilling livelihood. About Me
Maddalena is from Toronto, Canada. She has an MA from the University of Toronto's Munk School of Global Affairs. Maddalena is also a former intern at the United Nation's Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, where she worked at the Universal Periodic Review Department. She is also the founder of the first youth-run organization in the City of Vaughan called the Kleinburg Leo Club.
