Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!

Today our Environment Club put the 3 R's into practice while learning how to make recycled paper charcoal! Paper Charcoal is a great alternative to regular charcoal because it reduces dependency on forest wood, thus preventing deforestation. Zanzibar HUB participants now have an Environmental Club providing many activities! The club's members have painted old water bottles to create beautiful flowerpots to decorate the HUB but also to collect water from AC systems. They also have done a big clean-up of the campus and are now working on water bottles walls to embellish the HUB campus. What a team!
